This two-semester course sequence is designed to acquaint students with topics in mechanics and classical electricity and magnetism. The first semester is devoted to Newtonian mechanics. The second semester discusses the topics of electricity and magnetism. The course emphasizes problem solving including calculus. This course requires the completion of 18 hands-on labs. This course has been audited and authorized by the College Board to use the “AP®” designation.
