This two-semester course sequence is designed to acquaint students with topics in classical and modern physics. The first semester discusses the topics of Newtonian mechanics and fluid mechanics and thermal physics. The second semester discusses the topics of electricity and magnetism, waves and optics, and atomic and nuclear physics. This course requires the completion of 18 hands-on labs. This course has been audited and authorized by the College Board to use the “AP®” designation.
