Weblabs are web-based high school level laboratory courses designed as a laboratory supplement to UCCP's Biology, AP Biology, and AP Environmental Science courses. These laboratory courses provide student with a complete set of interactive labs that offer the realism of traditional hands-on labs, also known as wet labs.
Weblabs are not a substitute for the hands-on labs found in UCCP's Biology, AP Biology, and AP Environmental Science courses which make up at least 20 percent of the course itself, and for that reason cannot be used in place of them. Furthermore, the University of California's current online courses/policy states that UC will not accept any online course in area of Laboratory Science unless it includes a supervised wet lab component which means that computer simulated, or web based labs are not acceptable to satisfy this requirement.
